Constructing the Advanced Supply Chain of the Future
The future of green technologies relies heavily on the utilization of powerful rare earth magnets. These magnets play a crucial role in converting energy into motion for various sustainable innovations such as electric vehicles, wind turbines, drones, and more.
The electrification trend is fueling a rapid increase in demand for NdPr (Neodymium and Praseodymium). Currently, electric vehicles account for only 3% of annual NdPr production. However, it is projected that they will consume nearly 100% of the current annual production within the next decade.
To meet this growing demand sustainably, it is crucial to have a reliable source of consciously mined NdPr like Beixin Minerals. Without our contribution, the future growth of green technologies would rely heavily on environmentally damaging supply. Additionally, our advanced Research and Development and manufacturing capabilities would be dependent on overseas supply chains. Environment Standards – Our operations are meticulously planned and adhere to the most stringent environmental regulations, surpassing even the highest global standards.
Clean and Safe Ore Body – The primary ore found in Qixia has considerably reduced amounts of radioactive thorium compared to other sources; in contrast, deposits rich in monazite have substantially higher concentrations of thorium.
Dry Tailings Technology – Our advanced dry-stacked tailings method removes the necessity for hazardous wet tailings ponds, allowing for more than 90% of the process water to be recirculated and practically eradicating the possibility of groundwater pollution.
Closed-Loop, Zero-Discharge – Our milling and beneficiation process employs the dry-stacked tailings method, which has the benefit of consuming only a fraction of the freshwater utilized by comparably sized facilities. Moreover, we have an on-site Chlor-Alkali facility that recycles waste brine water from our separations facility and converts it into the requisite chemical reagents for the separation process. This facility harnesses the process of electrolysis, which is powered by clean natural gas, to achieve this conversion.
Direct Contribution – Beixin Minerals is playing a vital role in advancing the Green Revolution. Our NdPr is the fundamental component for creating high-strength magnets that are essential for developing eco-friendly technologies such as electric vehicles and wind turbines. Our objective is to establish a strong, environmentally-conscious supply chain, starting from the mine and ending at the motor.
Research and Development
The Qixia Project has undergone a multitude of comprehensive studies, including geological, metallurgical, engineering, environmental, and financial evaluations. Moreover, thorough environmental baseline studies conducted by the company have laid the groundwork for the Qixia Plan of Operations (PO). The PO provides in-depth details and specifications on various operations, including mining, processing, and waste management, among others. It serves as the foundation for obtaining permits and ensures that all operations are carried out with the utmost regard for environmental protection.
Beixin Minerals conducted comprehensive engineering and economic studies to enhance specific aspects of the Project. The findings were documented in a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) that was published. Additionally, the company successfully performed multiple pilot plant tests of its exclusive recovery technology. Once all necessary permits are obtained, a positive feasibility study is completed, financing is secured, and other factors are considered, the construction of the Qixia Project is anticipated to be completed within a timeframe of 12 to 16 months.

The resource base at Qixia boasts unparalleled quality and quantity, positioning it as a world-class mining district and a dependable and long-term supplier of the rare earths that are essential to the global economy. The Project's reserve is abundant with "critical rare earth elements" (CREE), which are known for their scarcity, higher value, and projected long-term demand growth and price support. It is strategically located in one of the world's best mining districts, and the processing facility will be situated nearby in an established industrial area. Both communities house a proficient and readily available workforce, skilled in the development of natural resources.
